1. Enter what you can measure
Choose metric or imperial units. Measure finished faces, footprints or internal dimensions, then deduct large openings where the tool asks for them.
2. Review the calculation trail
Each tool shows how your inputs become a net area or volume, which factor or coverage was used, the waste allowance and how the purchase quantity was rounded.
3. Keep the useful bits
Create a quote-ready materials list when you need a merchant conversation. The A4 print view includes quantities, visible assumptions and a confirmation checklist; select Save as PDF in the browser print dialog. When the room and wall tool is used, you can save a reusable wall measurement locally and apply it to a related decorating tool.
