Connected project workspace

Plan a garden wall from the faces you measure.

Add each rectangular wall face, return or pier once. The workspace keeps explicit gate, door, window and custom opening deductions tied to their own wall sections, then produces one transparent brick-or-block material list.

Measured wall sections

Add each rectangular wall face, return or pier separately. Deduct a gate, door, window or other opening only when you know the area that will not use the selected masonry units.

Notes optional · local only

What does this project calculate?

A traceable material plan.

It adds only the wall sections you include, subtracts only the opening areas you entered against each section, then applies your chosen units-per-m² factor and masonry allowance. Pack rounding appears only when you provide the actual pack content.

What measurements do I need?

Use the measurements you can check.

Have each intended wall length and height ready. Add a gate, door, window or custom opening only after measuring the area that will not use the selected masonry units. Keep the actual units-per-m² factor and pack content for the material you are considering with the project.

What will the result contain?

A supplier-neutral local list.

A browser-local materials list shows every included wall face, gross and net areas, stated openings, unit coverage, allowance, base requirement, recommended order, optional pack rounding, source calculator and formula version.

Garden wall planning questions

Simple answers before you begin.

What do I need to measure for a garden wall materials list?

Measure the rectangular face of every wall, return or pier you intend to include. Record only the clear gate, door, window or other opening areas you have chosen to exclude.

How does the workspace calculate brick or block quantity?

It totals the included gross wall faces, subtracts the opening deductions, then multiplies the net area by the units-per-m² factor and allowance you enter. It rounds to a pack only after you enter the actual pack content.

Can I deduct a gate or window opening?

Yes. Add a measured gate, door, window or custom opening to its own wall section. It remains visible in the calculation audit and is deducted only from that included wall face.

Does this plan foundations or mortar?

No. This workspace estimates masonry units for measured wall faces only. It does not calculate foundations, footings, drainage, ground conditions, retaining-wall loads, reinforcement, stability, lintels, ownership, permissions or mortar.

Each material retains its source.

The connected workspace reuses deterministic calculation patterns from the tools below. It does not alter their canonical URLs or replace a standalone calculation when you need to inspect it in detail.
